Today we are going to learn some facts about the 7 continents of the world. Your task is to create your own fact file page or book. You should include at least one fact for each continent. You can write straight into your home school book, use a piece of paper or card to create a fact file page, or you could create your own fact file book. It's up to you! Be as creative as you like! There will be some outlines of the continents and animals on the website if you would like to use those for your work, or you could draw them? Have fun!
Today we will write the first part of our story, where will describe the setting. Remember to use your story planners to help you. You can use the printable pages from the website, or you can use plain paper and ask an adult to draw lines for you. Or alternatively, do it straight into your homeschool book.
Boogie along to our favourite boogie beebies songs. Have fun!
Friday 15th January 2021- Maths
Join in with the aliens sports day and throw the shining star. Measure how far you throw it each time, using footsteps and record your results. You will need cardboard, tinfoil, glue, your homeschool book and a pencil.
Can you help alien Blob name and locate the seven continents? Watch the video and sing along to the continents song. Then, cut and stick the continents onto the world map to help Blob. You could add the animals to the continents for Blob too. Please note: You may wish to explain to the children that the countries are different colours according to the continents (sorry I didn't make this very clear in the video). :)
