Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Our current School Councillors have done an amazing job, but the biggest and most important task is yet to come!
To coincide with the, far less interesting, National Election our councillors will work as polling officers in The Churchill Election. So far they have drawn up lists of pupils from each class who want to stand. Next week they will be organising the speeches and on the big day they will make sure that every vote is counted before becoming the returning officers in the praise assembly on Friday 8th.
We are so luck to live in a democracy where every can have a say in the way we do things. It is one of our prime British values. Similarly we believe pupil voice is central to our school ethos. In our annual survey of pupil perceptions, for the third year running, the number of pupils who believe that they “have a say in the way things are run at school” has been well above the national average.

Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!
Violet Class are taking part in the 'Make a Difference Challenge'; a child-led project which demonstrates Go-Givers in action! Violet Class have decided to support people who are homeless and have been working hard to develop an awareness-raising campaign and fundraising. On Friday 22nd June, Violet Class carried out a sponsored 'Sleep-Out' where they slept rough for the night on our school field with only a cardboard box and sleeping bag. This not only allowed the children to raise money, but give them an insight into the hardships of being homeless. All the money we raise will go to Porchlight, a Kent based charity that works to change people’s lives for the better, by helping the most vulnerable and isolated people in our communities to access housing and related support services. We welcome further donations.
