At The Churchill School, our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and nurture pride in learning. Every unit begins with a carefully chosen Overarching Question, sparking curiosity and giving learning meaning. Our curriculum is built around clearly defined sticky knowledge and ambitious vocabulary, ensuring pupils develop secure understanding over time.

Our curriculum is carefully sequenced from Early Years to Year 6, ensuring knowledge and skills build progressively. Teachers use retrieval practice, questioning, and purposeful assessment to strengthen understanding and support every child to succeed.
