After an easy journey on the coach and the Channel Tunnel, we finally arrived.

Some of us were pleased to be able to go to the toilet!
They were quite different to the toilets at our school.

We could all wash our hands in a shared sink!

Next we were welcomed to the class.

We watched as the teacher wrote the date on the board in very neat handwriting.

After lunch we walked through the old town to a local park.

We played games together and got to know each other better.

At the end of the day it was time to get back on the coach.

Before we went we found out that all the French mums and dads had baked us some cakes!

We had a great day. We will keep in touch with our French friends by e-mail.

Next year we are hoping to be able to talk to them on a video link to France!
