Da Capo Music

Funding from the Creative Partnership initiative has allowed us to benefit from the expertise of music specialists to enhance the pupils experience and joy of learning about music. All of our Reception and Key Stage One children have taken part in this project.

Teachers and teaching assistants have attended training sessions to learn how to use the resources provided as part of the Da Capo Music teaching programme

The children used resources to sing and accompany songs led by a specialist music teacher. The directed activity was usually a circle time with opportunities to move around to feel the beat
